SmartGig includes account-level data tools for people with the right permissions. These tools are useful for governance, security review, data handling, and controlled deletion decisions.

Audit Log

Shows who changed records and when, where audit events are recorded.
Helps investigate changes to users, settings, approvals, documents, payments, and event data.
Useful after incidents, staff changes, or unexpected record updates.

Tenant data export

Owners can request an organisation data export from Account settings.
SmartGig prepares a ZIP package.
The account receives an email when the export is ready.
Download links can expire, so download promptly and store according to your own data policy.

Data retention review

Owners can configure retention periods for compliance documents and archived events where the feature is available.
SmartGig flags candidates for Pending Deletion Review.
Nothing is deleted from the review page without approval.
Owners can approve deletion or extend retention.

Before exporting or deleting data

Check who requested the action and why they need it.
Confirm the export or deletion scope is the right one.
Store downloaded exports according to your organisation's own data policy.
Do not approve deletion while the data is still needed for active event, finance, compliance, safeguarding, or audit work.
