Review Site Plan Issues

Work through on-site reports, move requests, and manager-created object notes.

All articles

Planner review items are created when staff report a map point, attach site photos, request a move from the read-only published viewer, or when a site-plan manager adds a note to a selected saved object in the builder. They do not change the live layout by themselves; they give the planning team a clear queue to inspect in the builder.

Review the queue

1

Open the builder

Go to the event Site Plan and open the full builder.

2

Use Planner review

Open the Layers tab. The Planner review panel shows open items, urgent counts, move-request counts, photos, published revision, category, threaded follow-up comments, assigned owner, due date, and the affected object or map location.

3

Jump to the item

Select a review item or its map pin to move the canvas to the issue location. Object-linked issues also select the matching participant, infrastructure, or zone when the builder can match it.

4

Add a builder note

Select a saved participant, infrastructure item, or zone, then use Review note from the selected-object panel or action menu. Use the Planning data category when an application answer or placement requirement needs chasing back on the participant profile. Only users with manage site plans permission can create builder review notes, and the object must still exist in the current saved revision.

5

Use object search when needed

The object search issue filter includes submitted review items as well as live rule warnings, so affected placed objects stay easy to find.

6

Add a follow-up comment

Use Follow-up when the planner, site lead, or production contact needs to note what was checked before the item is resolved. Only users with manage site plans permission can add review comments.

7

Assign owner and due date

Use Owner and Due when the report needs a named planner, site lead, or production contact to handle the next action. Only users with manage site plans permission can change assignment. When a different user is assigned or their due date changes, SmartGig sends them an in-app notification.

8

Resolve handled items

After the layout, briefing, or handover has been dealt with, use Resolve from the Planner review panel. Only users with manage site plans permission can resolve review items.

9

Republish when the plan changed

If the review item caused a layout change, save and republish so the official viewer, participant portal, exports, and module handovers match the corrected plan.

Resolving a review item shows that the team has handled the report. It does not move an object, republish a snapshot, or notify participants automatically.
